Ski holiday

Loved location. Cozy place, yes it’s small, but we knew what we were getting. Wanted the location near gondola and ease of going out in a flash to Vail Village shops & restaurants!

Great location in the heart of Vail Village. Ski in and out. Nice little space. Small but Comfy. Few things could improve: main TV is old and without functioning Netflix. Main table had broken leg. Main shower is odd, needing a handle, and inconvenient. Secondary shower was not working great (had build up). All in all, good place, and could be great with some improvements.

We loved our stay at this property!

This property was perfect for our little mountain getaway. We loved the location because we were close to literally everything - restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, ski slopes, playgrounds. etc. We also loved the cozy little condo. It was the perfect place for my husband, son and I. It is a smaller space but so well appointed and they have utilized every little nook and cranny. We would definitely come back and stay here again!!!

Perfect Location

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and you can't beat the location. It was great being in the heart of Vail Village but on the backside of the building facing the mountain so it was quiet. The balcony out back was very large and ideal for enjoying an evening cocktail. Just note there is a kids playground across the way. It's blocked by trees but you can hear the squeal of kiddos during the day. :) As others have noted, there isn't any air conditioning and the provided fans aren't great so highly recommend pulling those out and opening the doors at night during the summer to create some circulation. Otherwise, it was a lovely place to stay.

Amazing location and wonderful place

Loved the location to the lifts and to the nightlife. You cannot be any closer than this unit! Kids beds actually fit 6' tall adults and work great.

Place was amazing - true to ski in/ski out, which is ultimately what we were looking for. I do not think you could possibly get any closer to Gondola 1. It was amazing now much was able to fit into this tiny place - washer/dryer, soaking tub, dishwasher, fridge and large freezer. We were very impressed. The only issue was that the two bunks would not fit our 15 y/o son. He is 6ft and had to sleep on the couch, but if you have small children this would be a perfect place. My 10 y/o daughter absolutely loved the little room and made herself a cave to sleep in. Overall we had an awesome weekend. Thanks!

Great place and awesome location. We stayed here the week of July 4th with our two kids who are 13 and 15 and has a wonderful time. Location is at base of Gondola One which was awesome location. Please note that condo has a great kitchen for a short stay and pots/pans/plates, etc. Great if you want to cook a few meals in. Just need to bring any spices you may need. Has washer and dryer which was great as we were in Denver prior to Vail for a LAX tourney which meant we had some smelly laundry. The front desk at Christiania was so friendly. Only thing to note which I did not take off on the 5 star review was the balcony overlooks the kids' playground which can be super loud with kids' melting down often. The condo does not have AC so you will need to keep doors open. Wasn't a problem for us but just something to think of when booking. Place is decorated really nice and has plenty of close and storage places for your clothes.

Policies

Must cancel 30 day prior to arrival to avoid 100% penalty fee that equated to 100% of your total rental charges

A 16% Resort Fee will be added to each accommodation rate.

Departure Cleaning Fees vary by seasonality and by property and will be itemized when completing your booking

Check in time is guaranteed by 4pm.

Check out time is at 10am.

Guests must be 21 years of age to check-in to our vacation homes and condos.

Wild Dunes Homes and Condos Deposit: 50% of the value of the entire stay, inclusive of room rate, taxes, resort fees, and package items, is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival and will automatically be charged to your credit card.

Cancellation Policies: 50% deposit is due at booking and remaining 50% is due at 30 days prior to arrival. If cancelled within 30 days of arrival, 100% of your total vacation rental will be charged.

All deposits are nonrefundable if the booking is cancelled.

Check in is 4 p.m. Homes and condos guests may check-in with the Guest Experience team at the Welcome Gate on your arrival to the resort. When you arrive at the Welcome Gate of the resort, our Guest Experience team there will orientate you with the resort and check your gate pass or can provide you with a pass.

Our Welcome Gate is monitored 24 hours.

Check out time is 10am. Instructions will be shared with you upon your arrival, it may vary by unit.

While we love furry friends, pets are not allowed at The Sweetgrass Inn, Boardwalk Inn, Residences at Sweetgrass, Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals, or anywhere on the resort grounds. A $400 minimum fee will be assessed, per pet, if in breach of resort policy. Other fees and fines may apply. Service animals are welcome at Wild Dunes Resort and are not subject to the foregoing Pet Policy.

Optional for a fee
